Melanie Brown To Spice Up Hit Talent Show ‘X Factor’ Melanie Brown |
Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is set to return to her native U.K. - she is reportedly lined up to replace Dannii Minogue on Britain's hit talent show The X Factor.
Simon Cowell is allegedly seeking a new judge for the 2010 series of the hugely-popular singing contest after current panelist Minogue told him she wants to depart the show to start a family.
And the music mogul has his sights set on feisty Brown as the perfect replacement for the Aussie pop star, according to a popular magazine.
According to sources, "Simon thinks Mel could be brilliant as she is outspoken, down-to-earth and won't hold back.”
"There were times during the current series that he felt things were a bit boring and he is certain sparks will fly with her on board," the source added.
If Brown, who currently resides in Los Angeles, accepts the role she will be seated alongside current judges Cowell, Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, and boyband manager Louis Walsh.
The former Scary Spice has previous experience with primetime Saturday night TV - she hosted ITV talent show This Is My Moment in 2001.
