Pop star Mariah Carey has brushed off the rumours that she is pregnant. The singer claimed that she is not expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon.
The 39-year old singer ignited the rumours while speaking of her next career move after the success of the Oscar-nominated ‘Precious’ at the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles.
The singer hinted by saying ‘something special is about to happen’.
Mariah Carrey said at the award function, "I have a lot of new acting projects coming up... But there's also something else very special on the way. I can't say any more."
But, spokesperson for the pop star has dismissed the speculation and said that there is no truth to the pregnancy reports.
