People will never be able to forget the 1992 super hit movie, Roja, which had been directed by the versatile film maker, Mani Ratnam. If sources are to be believed, the there are plans to dub the movie in English after giving the acclaimed movie a digital makeover.
Roja gave Indian cinema one of its greatest musicians of all time, which is none other than the Oscar-winning A R Rahman. There is a speculation that the musical maestro will be recreating the magic of all the songs which he had composed for the original version. The background score of the music will also be redone in a Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.
The original soundtrack of the movie is among the “10 Best Soundtracks” of all time, listed by a popular magazine. The makers feel that Rahman’s new-found international fame will give the English Roja a fantastic reach!
