Malaika Arora Sings Deal To Endorse Emami’s Zandu Balm Malaika Arora |
After the item number 'Munni Badnaam Hui' from the movie 'Dabangg' was a hit, FMCG company Emami has signed Malaika Arora Khan to become pain reliever Zandu balm’s brand ambassador.
Emami inked a deal with Malaika and she will be reportedly paid Rs one crore for endorsing the Zandu balm brand.
Mohan Goenka, Emami Director said, "We have signed up with Malaika as the new brand ambassador for two years and the new ads will go on air from this month end."
He said that signing Malaika for this TV commercial will attract the young crowd to buy the product. This is a twist after the recent dispute between Emami Ltd and Arbaaz Khan Productions which used the words 'Zandu balm' in its song 'Munni Badnaam Hui'. However, the dispute was later settled mutually.
At present, famous cricketers Dinesh Karthik, Virendra Sehwag and Amit Mishra promotes the brand over Television.
'Dabangg' producer Arbaaz Khan said, "There were some issues which we decided to settle and agreed that Malaika will endorse the brand. Today was the last day of shooting for the new ad in Mumbai."
