Madhur Bhandarkar Gets His First Comedy Film Heroine Madhur Bhandarkar

‘Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji’ will be the first comedy film by Madhur Bhandarkar. It stars Omi Vaidya of ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Lahore’ actress Shraddha Das. After many sessions of screening and selections, finally Madhur got Shraddha as his new comedy film heroine.

Madhur Bhandarkar has made message oriented and reality based films like ‘Corporate’ and ‘Fashion’, so it will be quite interesting to see his first-ever comedy film.

Puzzled over the selection of the actress for the film, he finally liked Shraddha and thinks that she perfectly goes with the role in the movie.

Meanwhile, an enthusiastic Shraddha says, “I met Madhurjia month ago with my portfolio. Then, out of the blue, he called me this week to lock my dates. I’m really excited; it’s my first big assignment and that too with a National Award-winning director.”

Shraddha had previously acted in the film ‘Lahore’ by Sanjay Puran Singh. But to judge the actress, Madhur admitted  that he saw the movie.

Madhur adds, “I haven’t seen the whole film, but from what little I have seen of her, Shraddha comes across as a confident and focused actress.”
