Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has got engaged to Kate Major and the two plans to wed later this year at Oheka Castle in New York.
Michael Lohan quoted, “She's been there for five years with me. I think a friendship is more important than anything when you have a relationship, and this is the strongest one in my life.”
The 49-year-old father, who fell out with Lindsay after suggesting that she should go to a rehab, said he was waiting for the ‘situation with Lindsay to resolve’ before announcing his engagement.
Kate Major, former girlfriend of reality TV star Jon Gosselin, is already making wedding plans.
Kate Major said, "I'm really happy. I have talked to some of the bridesmaids and we have discussed having the wedding later this year... at Oheka Castle in New York. But right now, I'm just enjoying being engaged."
