Hollywood actress, Lindsay Lohan has decided to leave her rented Hollywood Hills home which was burgled recently.
According to sources, the actress decided to leave her house after the star's property was targeted by thieves on 23 August who made off with money, jewellery and designer garments.
Lindsay Lohan admitted that she is upset after the break-in and claimed that she was burgled by someone she knew. "My life has been kind of in shambles considering my house was broken into and I feel really violated”, Lindsay Lohan said.
The actress added, "I know it was not a robbery. Electronics weren't taken... just things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me."
The sources revealed that the move could cost Lindsay Lohan up to $50,000 (£31,250), as she is reportedly leaving several months before the end of her lease.
"Lindsay has five months left on her lease. She's breaking her lease by moving on at this time. The property was up for rental at $15,000 per month but she got a special deal of $10,000 per month, meaning she's going to owe $50,000 on the remainder of her lease” a source said.
The source added, "Plus there's going to be damages, the property is in total disrepair since she's moved in, it's not able to be shown in its current state, it's going to take some serious work to get it back to its original condition. If she doesn't pay up on the remainder of her lease, and pay up for the damages she has caused the property owner is going to sue her. They are not happy at all about the situation."
