Lil Wayne's ‘Rebirth’ To Be Released In February Lil Wayne |
Lil Wayne's much-delayed rock album ‘Rebirth’ will be revamped and ready for release next month (Feb10), despite reports to the contrary.
The Lollipop hitmaker's forthcoming CD has experienced countless delays and was expected to officially hit retailers at the start of February (10).
Subsequent reports suggested the record's official release had been rescheduled for 22 June (10) - but Wayne's publicist insists that is not the case.
The spokesperson tells a site the CD will be available to purchase on 2 February (10).
Meanwhile, Wayne's business partner Mack Maine reveals the star has reworked the tracklisting for ‘Rebirth’ to make it sound fresh in light of a pre-Christmas (09) Amazon.com blunder, which has since led to the songs leaking online.
A few hundred lucky fans, who had pre-ordered the album on Amazon.com, got a Christmas (09) surprise when the copies were sent out by accident two months early.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, Maine writes, "Leaked 09 Rebirth isn't going to be 2010 Rebirth."
