Leonardo DiCaprio As ‘J Edgar Hoover’ In His Next Leonardo DiCaprio |
It is now official that Leonardo DiCaprio will be the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States. DiCaprio has been roped in to portray J Edgar Hoover in an upcoming biopic about the FBI founder’s exciting life.
According to the latest casting report revealed by a leading tabloid it has been confirmed that the actor will be starring in Warner Bros’s tentatively titled flick, ‘Hoover’.
It would be the first time that the ‘Titanic’ hunk will be teaming up with director Clint Eastwood.
"He going to spread his wings," a studio source quoted.
‘Hoover’ is written by scriptwriter Dustin Lance Black of ‘Milk’ fame.
This is not the first time that DiCaprio has agreed to portray an eminent personality as earlier he had played the role of ‘Howard Hughes’ in ‘The Aviator’.
However, to portray ‘J. Edgar Hoover’ is not going to be a easy job for the star as he will be required to do lot of homework before stepping into the shoes of the first Director of FBI. It was rumoured that the crime-fighting figure was a cross-dresser despite his masculine image.
