Leona Lewis Found Herself In Middle Of Gun Siege Leona Lewis |
Singer Leona Lewis has revealed her terror when she found herself in the middle of a gun siege on the streets of Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old star was horrified when she saw thugs waving handguns run towards her car as they attempted to flee police following a high-speed chase.
Her security intervened and the men ran off, but not before her manager Nicola Carson was thrown to the ground.
Leona Lewis said, "It kinda sounds really dramatic! They did have guns but basically were these two guys and my car was parked and the chase ended right in front of the car and the guy that I was with tackled one of them to the ground and the police arrested them."
"It was scary but I wasn't in the crossfire or anything like that" she added.
The ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker also revealed that she had become more safety-conscious after she was assaulted at a book signing.
"Does it make me more guarded? Um, at first I was very aware but it has definitely made me more aware of my surroundings and looking out for myself and my safety, but I don't want to be guarded from the people that genuinely care for me and want to meet me,” the singer explained.
