With the success of Apple’s iPad, the Chinese company Lenovo is gearing up to release its own iPad tablet by the end of 2010.
The so called LePad features both an independent touchpad screen and a keyboard. It is powered by a Snapdragon processor and incorporates many essential features like the other iPad devices. More to it, the product will run Android OS.
Liu Jun, senior VP at Lenovo also confirmed about the development. This means, Lenovo is coming up in a big way to compete with Apple iPad tablet.
Earlier, Lenovo displayed its hybrid tablet at CES 2010.
Lenovo is now a leading player in the mobile PC market since acquiring IBM's PC segment and utilising the ThinkPad brand for its products.
