Kylie Minogue- A Star Of Decades Kylie Minogue |
Pop diva Kylie Minogue will not fear criticism anymore as she has written history with her new music offering. Minogue has managed to become the first solo artist to have four number one albums in different decades in the British charts.
The 11th studio album of the Australian beauty ‘Aphrodite’ scored the top position following in the footsteps of her other chart-topping albums in the 1980s, 1990s and the 2000s.
She first topped the charts with her record ‘Kylie’ in 1988, while ‘Kylie's Greatest Hits’ achieved the number one position in 1992 and ‘Fever’ followed suit in 2001.
However, ‘Put Yourself in My Place’ singer regrets her last two albums, ‘Body Language’ and ‘X’ as feels that they could have been ‘more cohesive’.
"I hate to have regret because there was some amazing stuff on there, but there was a niggling voice in my head that just wished they could have been a little bit more cohesive,” the singer quoted.
But, Kylie is happy with her latest album ‘Aphrodite’ and does not have the same feeling for it.
"I don't think I've ever felt this way about an album. I feel that just a lot of goodness has gone into it."
