While most technology companies are targeting younger generation or business utilities while selling their PCs, KiWi has come out with new desktop system that has been designed for senior citizens.

The bold icons and customizable applications and software help elderly citizens with easy navigation. The whole system has been designed with user-friendly software. The KiWi PC also ensures easy access of email and web browsing.

“Until now, there has not been an easy way for senior citizens to navigate the internet and stay connected to friends and family. Linux based KiWi PC provides the elderly with an easy way to stay in touch, learn and game online,” KiWi PC’s President, Oscar Ferreira was quoted as saying.

The system comes with 19 inches monitor with Intel BOXD510MO 1.66ghz atom motherboard, 2GB DDR3 memory, 250GB hard drive. Besides, there is an Intel GMA 3150 graphics, integrated Intel high definition audio and integrated Realtek LAN.

The KIWI PC is powered by an Ubuntu operating system. The OS helps in easy usage users by generating visible and easy navigation right from startup of the system to its shut down.

The KiWi PC has been priced at $499.99 with one year warranty and can be bought from the company’s official website.
