The movie title of Mexican beauty, Barbara Mori and Indian Barbie Doll, Katrina Kaif are same , one being ‘My Brother’s Wife’ and the other being ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.

 

Yash Raj Banner is the filmmaker of Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan starrer, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, while Spanish film ‘My Brother’s Wife’ star casting Barbara in the lead role is releasing in India, this month.

 

 

Sources also reveal that the story of both the movie is quite similar. ‘My Brother’s Wife’ has an adulterous theme, which shows that a woman is indulged in an affair with her husband’s brother while the Yash Raj Banner film has also the same kind of story.

 

‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ runs on the same lines and it shows the story of Imran falling in love with his brother (Ali Zafar’s) fiancée Katrina, the movie is still under production, but Barbara’s film will hit the screens this month.

 

 

But YRF thinks that the film is no threat to their movie and a source adds further, “YRF doesn't consider Barbara's film as a threat to their project. They feel its release won't have any effect on them as the Katrina-Imran film has more of a romantic tone than an adult one. Even though the basic premise is the same, the treatment would be very different."

 

 

Even the Spanish movie distributors think agree with the YRF team, Dhaval Gada of Pen India who is distributing it says, "We heard about the film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The title did make us think that the theme of their film maybe similar to our movie, Spanish Beauty.”
