Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor revealed that as a child she feared a dentist. The actress was speaking during the inauguration of an oral health care camp for children in New Delhi.
Karishma told media-persons,"I was very scared of going to a dentist. But thanks to my parents, they pushed me to keep my teeth clean and inculcated the habit of brushing my teeth twice a day. I`m trying to give the same lesson to my kids also.”
The 36-year-old actress said,"The enthusiasm of the children, the dentists and everyone present here is testimony to the seriousness of the initiative. I would like to urge the people to make the most of the various facilities available as part of the Oral Health Month across the country.”
The campaign is a part of Oral Health Month being observed throughout the nation. Indian Dental Association and Colgate Palmolive have initiated the camp.
