JVC has announced its new camcorder model dubbed as GS-TD1. The USP of this camcorder is its capability to capture 3D videos in full High-Definition.
With 3D televisions flooding into markets, JVC has made a right move at appropriate time by announcing its 3D camcorder.
“With more commercially-produced 3D content coming along this year, sales of 3D TVs are expected to be strong. But what could be better than creating your own home videos in 3D? We think there will be plenty of 3D TV buyers eager to do just that. Furthermore, we think they’ll appreciate that our new camcorder offers both Full HD 3D recording and several options for archiving and playing back their 3D footage,” JVC U.S.A. Consumer Video, Vice President, Dave Owen was quoted as saying.
The device comes with 3.2 mega pixels CMOS sensors and the dual lens and dual censors promises best HD 3D. The camcorder has synchronized 5x/ 10x optical zoom, back-illuminated CMOS sensors, 3D digital still images and 3D sound.
There is also a 3.5 inches 3D glasses-free touch panel LCD monitor. JVC’s GS-TD1 hosts Everio MediaBrowser 3D edition.
With 64GB of internal flash memory, the camcorder comes priced at $1,699.
