Even though Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp starrer The Tourist received bad reviews from the critics and failed at the box office, the actor insists that he is unfazed with the response.
Depp who plays the role of a teacher in the film says that he is happy with the movie and criticism doesnot bother him.
The actor was quoted as saying, "I wanted to work with Angelina (Jolie) and I felt like I had a good handle on the character. It was not a character that I`d really played before.”
"I don`t know the main ingredient of success at the box office. I just feel that`s not something I can do anything about," he added.
The Tourist which is a remake of the 2005 French film Anthony Zimmer sees Johnny Depp portraying the role of Frank Taylor, an American tourist visiting Venice, Italy to mend a broken heart while Jolie plays the role of Elise who crosses his path in order to mislead all those following her former lover, Alexander Pearce.
