Jerry Hall Autobiography Postponed Jerry Hall |
American model and actress, Jerry Hall has dismissed the rumours that her autobiography has been cancelled by the publishers. The actress claims that it has just been postponed.
Jerry Hall had lined up a $1.6 million (£1 million) deal with publishing giant Harper Collins for her autobiography.
According to sources, the bosses of Harper Collins announced that the deal was off in May despite Jerry Hall receiving an $800,000 (£500,000) advance for the book.
But, Jerry Hall claimed that it was a mutual decision not to publish the work and cited that she wanted to wait for a few years before letting the public read her life story.
Jerry Hall said, "It's been put on hold. Hopefully, it's coming out at some point. It was a mutual decision to wait. I'm not really ready to put it out yet; maybe in a few years”.
"I've found writing it cathartic, though. I think as you mature you do remember things differently, or certain things become more important than you thought they were when you were younger”, she added.
