The film critics of various media channel had highlighted Jeremy Renner starrer ‘Hurt Locker’s military concept to be fake and not relevant to actual facts of military. This backlash upon the film’s military portrayal, the Hollywood experts feels it can be a plot that is built to defame the film and held it back from wining the coveted trophies of Oscar.

On the controversial issues of 'Hurt Locker' an expert sighted, “Are we seeing the Swiftboating of an important film or valid criticism from those with direct experience of events being played out on the big screen? Is all this an orchestrated conspiracy or merely showbiz as usual?”

The military couldn't help but be distracted by a litany of inaccuracies in the film, Paul Rieckhoff mentioned, " The Hurt Locker' tries to articulate that experience [of modern warfare], but those of us who have served in the military couldn't help but be distracted by a litany of inaccuracies that reveal not only a lack of research, but ultimately respect for the American military.”

 

It's the instinctive reaction of people in Hollywood, Dave Karger of Entertainment Weekly stated, "It's like clockwork every year. It's almost comical at this point. Whatever is perceived as the front-runner, people try to tear it down. I am not saying this is a coordinated attack by any group of people. I think it's the instinctive reaction of people in Hollywood."

 

Jeff Wells of Hollywood stated, “It’s obviously coordinated. These things don't happen at the last minute on their own."
