Jennifer Aniston Debut Perfume Launched, ‘Lolavie’ Changed To ‘Jennifer Aniston’ Jennifer Aniston |
Hollywood starlet Jennifer Aniston wanted her debut perfume’s name to be different and close to her heart therefore after spending months in coming up with the title of scent, she decided to name it, ‘Lolavie’ but at the eleventh hour she changed the name to simply ‘Jennifer Aniston’.
The beauty explained the reason why she changed ‘Lolavie’ which means ‘laughing at life’ to ‘Jennifer Aniston’.
Just few hours before the launch, the marketing bosses realised the name was similar to a fragrance of fashion designer Marc Jacobs called ‘Lola’.
Jennifer Aniston quoted, "It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace. And at such a late hour, I didn't want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name.”
When asked why she chose ‘Lolavie’ as the name, she said, "It's a long story and honestly it's too personal to tell, but it has a special significance."
