Jaipur, The Next Spot For International Fashion Week  |
The Pink City or Rajasthan’s capital city, Jaipur will be hosting the next episodes of Blender’s Pride International Week. Since, the event will be the first in one of its kind segment; the place has become the newest and the freshest fashion destination of the country.
25 big time Indian fashion designers and 3 designers from overseas will make the super-sexy models walk the ramp in the Pink City for the first time ever. The scheduled date for the cool event is September 15 and it will end on 19 of September.
The overseas designers will feature one from Singapore, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. The other Indian names are Puneet Nanda, Ashima-Leena, Gunjan-rahul and Charu Parashar.
Anjana Sukhani, Bollywood actress and the brand ambassador for this event will be the show stopper for the show.
Anjana adds, "I have an emotional connect with Jaipur, since I was born there. For me it is the main reason for being a part of this event. Moreover I have been seen as a girl-next-door and this show will bring out the sensuous side of me. Who says one cannot look sexy in traditional attire?"
Atul Pandey from Storm Fashion Company, the main organizer of the event, adds, “The objective is to take fashion beyond Mumbai and Delhi to new places like Jaipur and Punjab that have their own traditional fashion and style.”
The theme of the event will be the royalty and heritage associated with Jaipur and many fresh designers will be introduced in this event.
