Jacqueline Fernandes has been offered to work opposite John Abraham in Housefull 2 by Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid Khan would direct the sequel.

 

About Jacqueline, Sajid said, "I am sure she is one new face to watch out for. If you ask me, she is the next Katrina in the making."

 

Though there was a buzz before that even this time Jacqueline would be seen opposite Riteish Deshmukh just like her past two movies, however, Sajid said, “she is opposite John in the film".

 

Sajid adds, "She has the fire and knows how to deliver the goods. I could see that in the song 'Dhanno' where she was tremendous. It was just apt that she finds a full fledged role for herself in the next in the series of 'Housefull'."

 

Apart from Jacqueline, there is another new entrant in the movie to play opposite Akshay Kumar, Asin.
