Celebrated Indian film actors Irfan Khan and Adil Hussain are among the latest to join the making of Life of Pi film. This film will be directed by Taiwanese-American director Ang Lee, while Canadian Yann Martel has authored this book.

 

The shooting of this film is supposed to begin by next year, and Suraj Sharma, who is from Delhi, would be the main hero in this film. While Bollywood actress Tabu is supposed to be the mother of Pi, Hussian will occupy himself as Pi’s father.

 

In this film, young Pi is forced to live with a Bengal tiger as his only company in a lifeboat. Film further tells about the daunting journey that he had to undertake on his way.

 

Lee is a famous worldwide director and has made films like ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon`, `Brokeback Mountain`, and `Sense and Sensibility`.  This film will be completely shot in 3D technology.  

 

Life of Pie film will be in theatres by December 14, 2012.
