Guess who can be Imran’s Punjabi aunty? She is not any boorish or old female, but a very young and charming doll, called Sonam. The title is one of the wittiest remarks by actor Imran for her.
During a press conference in New Delhi to promote ‘IHLS’, Imran pestered Sonam. with his witty remarks. Imran has a special name for Sonam and he calls her ‘Punabi Aunty’. Apart from it, Imran also calls her ‘Blind’!
Debutante director, Punit Malhotra adds, “If you go by his looks, you'd never be able to judge him.”
Imran is always found playing pranks with his co-stars and team members on the sets.
Punit further adds, “Contrary to his sweet looks, Imran is a devil to work with. Sonam is definitely an angel.”
Imran mischievously adds while addressing to the press, “She can't see any of your faces. She's blind as bat. She can just see me and Punit.”
An embarrassed Sonam explains, “He calls me Punjabi aunty all the time."
Sonam also said that she won’t work with Imran anymore and he should work in the South Indian cinema now.
