The much-touted first LTE smartphone, HTC ThunderBolt, may again get postponed due to poor battery life, according to sources. Some reliable reports carried news today stating that poor battery life has made the company hold back its ThunderBolt device from long time.
The HTC ThunderBolt, according to the report, was spotted on Verizon portal which says ‘No ETA at this time’ for HTC ThunderBolt.
The pre-bookings for HTC ThunderBolt started on February 6. Initially, the device was scheduled for availability on February 14, which was later postponed to February 24. The phone was, however, not launched in last week also. Now, the smartphone is reported not to arrive before March 10.
So far, neither HTC nor Verizon has revealed any reason for delaying the launch of the device. Now both HTC and Verizon are rumored to be working on it to resolve battery life and reception-related issues.
