After a scrutiny over thirty thousand votes Ford emerged as the winner above the other favorite contenders like Michael Douglas, Bill Pullman, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.

 

Reportedly, it is heard that Ford had taken over his strong competitors like Michael Douglas and Bill Pullman to climb to the top slot position with thirty eight percent vote win in the MovieTickets.com poll.

 

Earlier Douglas had portrayed as the President Andrew Shepherd in ‘The American President,’ 1995, who stood in the second position in the net poll with twenty one per cent votes.

 

After him Pullman for President Thomas J Whitmore in ‘Independence Day’ was elected in the third position below Douglas and ahead of Morgan Freeman 'Deep Impact' and Jack Nicholson 'Mars Attacks!'.

 

It is good that Ford even at his prime age of sixty seven stood out of his younger competitors in a recent e-polling as the top on screen president.
