Abhishek Bachchan is quite finicky when it comes to his hair and he really needs special attention for it. For the shooting of Raavan, hair stylist Aalim flew to Kerala every week to just give that last look.

 

 

Stars will be stars they don’t like people fiddling around with them. Especially, when it comes to hair styles or make-up. But, these are some of the lighter moments, which the unit enjoys the most.

 

 

Every actor needs a new look and a new hair style as per the demand of the role. Mani Ratnam also wanted to try his hands on Abhishek’s hair style. He wanted to keep it very short and quite spiky.

 

This hairstyle literally made Aalim, the hair stylist flew every time the junior Bachchan demanded a touch up. Aalim flew to Kerala every week for giving the final look to Abhi’s hair.

 

Abhishek had a hair cut even before he left for Kerala for the final shooting, but Mani Ratnam didn’t find that very much complimentary to the role.

 

To the surprise of Abhi, the director himself picked up a pair of scissors and trimmed down Bachchan’s hair. He kept quiet for this, as he had once promised the director at the time of movie Yuva, that he would let Mani style his hair in future.

 

It was a great moment of fun for the whole unit, especially for the lovely wife Mrs. Bachchan.
