Media reports says that Hrithik-Ash starrer ‘Guzaarish’ got released in Pakistan two days before  it released in India. The news has aroused queries by the Indian exhibitors and they have questioned the Pakistani film exhibitors in this regard.

 

The film released in Pakistan on November 17 and in India, the release happened on November 19, the issue was not blown up as the movie has done quite well at the Indian Box Office in India, else the situation would have been quite different.

 

The Pakistani distributors says that since they didn’t have any major releases for Bakrid , so the movie had been released. They also said that the Indian distributors do not have any legal rights to object on this.

 

A source adds further, “Pakistani distributors had bought the rights and they spoke to the people concerned before releasing the film. Only the main distributor from whom Pakistani exhibitors have bought the distribution rights of the film can object to this, the exhibitors in Dubai or anywhere else have nothing to do with it. Additionally, a producer may have an issue with this situation but not the distributors.”

 

 

But the Pakistani distributors would be warned for this; so that the movie releases in India happen first, the next movie to be released tomorrow is Deepika and Imran starrer ‘Break Ke Baad’.
