Google's much-touted smartphone Nexus S is set to hit the Indian markets soon, according to reports.
According to sources, the Nexus S model would soon come to the Indian retail market. An online mobile phone sales company is already displaying a page saying- ‘Nexus S coming soon’.
The Nexus S model was first officially demonstrated on November 15, 2010. Another online company ebay is already selling Google’s Nexus S smartphone, which is designed by Google and manufactured by Samsung.
The specialty of the phone uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and it is the first Android device to support NFC in hardware and software. In India, the model is expected to come priced at Rs. 24,000.
However, Google has not disclosed any information regarding the launch of Nexus S in India. Google’s earlier model Nexus One was the company first smartphone, which saw only moderate sales.
