The actor who stammers in 'Golmaal 3', Shreyas Talpade said that this movie in no way intends to ridicule or hurt people having speech disabilities but, it’s a comedy movie and stammering was the ailment that the character of the movie had.
He also said that if it has hurt people in any way then he is sorry for that. He said, “Have we really offended people? If we have, I am really sorry. But that was never the intention. Hum sabko ek hi maante hai. We would be the last people to make fun of somebody's weakness. All of us have some or the other kind of ailment. And that is what we have tried to portray in the film. Tusshar plays the mute guy but walks away with the heroine in 'Golmaal 2'.”
Shreyas said that through 'Golmaal' he could prove that he can efficiently perform comedy roles as well because prior to this movie he acted only in serious movies like 'Iqbaal' and 'Dor'. He added, “I just feel proud that I am a part of 'Golmaal' series. It’s a part of history as it is the first trilogy of India. It's scoring more points with every sequel.”
