The Hollywood star George Clooney has ended his long-standing business partnership with Warner Bros and has inked a new deal with Sony.
Clooney became famous after he starred in hit medical drama "ER", a TV show which was produced by the Warner Bros in 1994. Then he went on to start his own production firm, Smokehouse Pictures, partnering with his friend Grant Heslov in 2006. The two left the Warner Bros list after being with them for 3 years and they have decided to move on and inked a new deal with Son.But Clooney insists the parting is amicable.
"Warner Bros has been a great place to work, and I've felt like part of a family for almost 20 years. So in moving on, I'm leaving a terrific company and a lot of dear friends. They're a class act," he said.
