General Mobiles' Second Android Phone- ‘Cosmos’ Unveiled Cosmos |
The little familiar mobile maker General Mobile has unveiled its second Android phone, Cosmos in leading markets. It would be the second Android release after the Google Nexus One Android phone this year.
The Cosmos will be a feature packed product, which will run with Android 2.0 (Eclair). The set sports a 3.3-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The phone is supposed to bear a 3D interface along with a 5MP camera and autofocus option. The usual FM connectivity is there to entice the user. There is a trackball option like the HTC Hero to offer better navigational utilities.
The latest Android set will also support the advanced features like Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, EDGE and HSDPA. Apart from that, the product is associated with a Marvell PXA935 (Tavor P65) processor and has extendable memory card option. There is also support for 256MB NAND, 128MB DDR memories of up to 16GB.
This stylish looking Android set promises to be a nice buy and can be had from GM’s Android App stores. However, the other details including the pricing are yet to come out.
