Here is good news for the Android loving people as Garmin-Asus has unveiled the next GPS navigation oriented smartphone, the nuvifone A50.
Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with HVGA resolution. Apart from that, the set has a 3MP auto-focus camera with geotagging functionality along with GPS, Bluetooth, 3G support and accelerometer sensor. However, there may not be Wi-Fi connectivity with this set.
The nuvifone A50 handset has 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It boasts of WebKit-based browser with multi-touch support that gives sense that there will be multi-touch gestures in other parts of the UI too.
This Garmin-Asus phone will come with full navigation license along with turn-by-turn voice guided navigation information, pre-loaded maps and digital compass to provide useful details. As per reports, this smartphone incorporates one of the best location based software with it. With the Android OS in nuvifone A50, the users can also get quick access to large amounts of 3rd party software.
