The much-expected HTC 7 based on Windows Phone 7 will soon hit markets. Bangalore based Flipkart has announced the pre-order of the HTC 7 at Rs. 31,099 after discount of Rs. 2445 (7%), the company’s website said.
According to the Flipkart’s website, the device is expected to be released in the third week of this month.
The HTC HD7 is a smartphone based on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system that comes with a 4.3 inches wide touch-screen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, 1GHz processor, high-definition video recording and 5 mega pixels camera.
Besides, the phone is also equipped with SRS sound and Dolby Surround support and XBox Live optimized. The Zune-enabled phone makes it easy for transferring music, videos and images in the suitable format. The HTC HD7 also supports social networking sites like Facebook and browses through the users’ account to gather required information.
The high-end smartphone, when launched, would directly compete with Apple’s iPhones and BlackBerry phones.
