Cases of criminal breach of trust and forgery charges have been reported against former actress Asha Parekh and producer Sunil Shanbagh. The FIR complaint has been filed by an art director, Krishna Singh against the duo.
A private complaint has been filed by Art Director Krishna Singh with Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Shaida Razvi stating the charges against the yesteryears celebrities.
Observing the complaint, Razvi says, “Taking into consideration serious allegations against the accused it needs a detailed investigation".
A senior police officer of Tardeo police station tells, “We are investigating into the matter and will file a report before the court".
As per the complaint, Krishna worked in employment of Ajit Patnaik, who ran a firm 'Designworks' back in the year 2002. Krishna has apparently complaint that she was not paid salary for 15 months amounting to Rs 2.05 lakhs.
She further told that she came in contact with Parekh and Shanbhag some time back as they produced television serials. She worked with them on some assignments for which she was to get Rs 87,000 and Rs 14,000 from Parekh and Shanbag respectively.
The forgery took place when Patnaik forged documents on the letter heads of Parekh and Sunil to show that the amount has been paid to Krishna.
She even blamed Asha Parekh that the actress had once called her and even advised her to go back to her native saying Mumbai is not for women.
No comments have been obtained from the actress and producers end, but investigation is going on to show the true picture.
