Dell is all set to launch its Android Tablet, the Streak in the US on August 13. This is better to say a tablet phone that boasts of the biggest ever screen with a phone.
The Streak will be known as a tablet cum phone due to a number of features integrated with it. It sports a huge 5-inch WVGA TFT LCD 'Gorilla' glass screen and incorporates features like multi-touch gesture, Google Maps with navigation, text-to-voice, and turn-by-turn directions with Street-view, 5MP camera with dual-LED flash and a front facing camera for video chat.
More to it, there is a WebKit based browser along with social networking sites like Facebook. Even, you can upload videos and photos from the device through Flickr.
The tablet phone is powered by a Snapdragon QSD 8250 processor with1Ghz. The other features in the specs list include 512MB ROM, 512MB RAM and 2GB MicroSD for storage requirement.
The device would be available on AT&T and would cost $299.99 with a new two-year AT&T contract. Without contract, the tablet would cost $549.99.
According to the company, the early-bird customers will get the order from August 12.
