Buzz is loud in the tinsel town that south beauty Deepika Padukone will replace former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra in Siddharth Anand’s forthcoming project. The new venture of the filmmaker is the adaption of Chetan Bhagat’s highly praised novel ‘Two States – The Story of My marriage’.
It is believed that the movie bosses are thinking over the female cast of the flick again and feels that the dimpled beauty will be perfect for the role instead of Piggy Chops.
Apparently, Saif Ali Khan is chosen to play the Punjabi boy while former Miss World will play his love interest, lass from south.
A source was quoted as saying, “Even before the movie goes on set, there is news that Sajid and Siddharth feel that Deepika is a better choice for the role of a south Indian than Priyanka is”.
“Since everything is very tentative right now, none of the principal star cast nor the makers wish to go on record. But it may well happen that the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ pair of Saif and Deepika may return in this contemporary take of ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’”, the source added.
Well, it could be a bad news for our brunette but it seems Deepika will win the race. Good going Deepika!!!
