Recently, Deepika Padukone who has arrived India from her London shoot of Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’ reveals her experience in her new comic role. This beautiful lass Deepika Padukone who has already created a mark for her in the romantic roles had a difficult time to frame herself perfectly into comical roles.
But as luck was on her stride her co-star Shahid came to her help and guided her to get ease with character. She states that it is a tough job to perform lighter roles to its perfection, Deepika states, “It’s an out-and-out comedy, a genre really tough to get right. You can’t do comedy well without having that perfect comic timing. I’m lucky I had Sajid to guide me through it.”
To have Akshay Kumar in the film have made things lot more easier but at the same time he proved to be more challenging. Deepika states, “Of course. Akshay is also so good at comedy so to have him around made it easier but also more challenging. If you look at the past films that I’ve done, I think I have experimented with all there is. I’m not partial to any and I’m just glad that I’ve been able to do these films. But I have to say that comedy is tougher.”
