Why not? As Ranbir Kapoor is associated with Kapoor Khandan and whether it be date from his uncle that does not matters to Deepika Padukone. Recently the lady was very much excited to receive a message from Shammi Kapoor uncle of Ranbir for a  coffee date through Twitter.

 

Showering a light on to this, the excited Deepika stated, “I was very excited when Shammiji messaged me on Twitter. I didn't know he had messaged me because I was busy performing for the IPL opening ceremony. After my performance, I was flooded with messages in my BlackBerry Messenger and Twitter about Shammiji tweeting me. Till then, I didn't even know Shammiji was on the website as his name comes as Shamsher Raj.”

 

Paan Parag uncle still roves Deepika’s mind and was overjoyed with Shammi’s response to ask her over for a coffee and states, "I remember him as the Paan Parag uncle and in the Yahoo song in Junglee. I have always been a big fan of his. It was really sweet of him to message me. I thanked him immediately.”

 

The time seems to be always available for Kapoor member even in the mid of busy schedules, Deepika mentions, “I am jumping at the opportunity to meet him for coffee. I have finished the first schedule of Pradeep Sarkar's Lafange Parinde and now starting on Kunal Kohli's Break Ke Baad. After I complete my shooting, I will go out on my date with Shammiji.” On the other Shammiji’s heart must be jumping to meet her.

 

Concerning over Twitter ID change, Deepika stated, "Now it's verified too and I have finally got my proper name” which is altered from @DeepikaCalling to @deepikapadukone.

Always at Shammi’s jovial best, hummingly  twitted, "Hi Deepika - would like you to communicate maybe could meet over a cup of coffee at my place - love, Shammi uncle. You were the best that IPL offered today - Love." The king of romance still knows how to woo ladies with his charisma.

What about Deepika she is completely lured by a man of more than her father's age?
