Daniel Radcliffe In ‘All Quiet On The Western Front’ Daniel Radcliffe |
The young Hollywood actor Daniel Radcliffe seems to be keen to change his image as he has been roped in to star in a remake of classic war movie ‘All Quiet On The Western Front’.
In the movie, Radcliffe, 20 will essay the role of a young German soldier Paul Baumer who fights in the trenches in France in World War I. The makers are confident that he has the calibre to shine.
Producer, Ian Stokell quoted, "Daniel brings a vulnerability and innocence to Paul. We know he can tap into the delicate balance between intensity and believability that is critical for this demanding role.”
"When we realised how much he loved the script, we were really excited," he added.
In a recent interview, the actor said that he is not interested to be tied into a franchise in the future, like, Harry Potter as he wants to take up some more challenging ventures.
The actor said, 'I wouldn't like to get involved with another franchise at all, really.”
'I've done that, and I know what that's like, and it's been a wonderful thing. Going on to any other franchise after Potter might seem a little bit of a let-down,” he added.
