Samsung has added a new Android handset, Galaxy S (i9000) at the CTIA Wireless 2010.
The Samsung Galaxy S handset is also known as the i9000. It has a 4-inch touchscreen with packs of features like Social Hub, advanced location based services, native GPS with 3D maps and recording and playing back HD video and 5MP camera.
The Galaxy S will run with a 1GHz processor and add the Social Hub feature on the Wave. It would allow the users to connect to the friends and relatives through the single connectivity. Everything, from history of contacts to mails, photos and videos will be managed easily due to this unique feature.
More to it, the cell is incorporated with some intelligent features like 'Smart Life' content eco-system, ‘daily briefing’ widget for instant access to news, weather and diary inputss, DLNA connectivity, ‘Write and Go’ for quick notes you can turn into an SMS or email and ‘ThinkFree’. ThinkFree is an app that will allow the user to view and edit Microsoft Office 2007 documents.
Samsung has also promised to feed movies, TV shows and ebooks to the Galaxy S and other Samsung smartphones.
However, there is no clear word about its release in the top markets like the UK.
