Lead singer, guitarist and lyricist for the alternative rock band ‘Hole’ Courtney Love revealed that she was in great depression after losing the custody of her 17-year old daughter, Frances Bean that she wanted to end her life.
The singer and actress said that she was full of self-loathing and was thinking of jumping off the window.
Courtney Love quoted, "I think a lot of people idealise suicide. I understand it. I had an episode two weeks ago when I was tempted to jump out of a window. I’m not saying why but the reason behind it is self-loathing. You know, wouldn’t it be better if I wasn’t there?"
"I’ve always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself," she added.
Love married to rocker Kurt Cobain in 1992 and he died after committing suicide in 1994.
