Supermodel Claudia Schiffer is set to venture into fashion line as she has signed a deal with German knitwear brand Iris von Arnim to launch her own cashmere collection
Detailing about the deal, the fashion icon revealed that she is very happy to team up with Iris von Arnim as it will give her freedom to show off her designs to the world.
"I have been looking for the right partnership for a very long time and I feel very lucky to have found it with IvA. We have the same inherent values and I was delighted to find a company that was able to interpret my vision," Claudia was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the company said, “Claudia is a global fashion icon, a woman with impeccable taste who has a strong vision and knows exactly what she wants for her line. We are thrilled to be working together and very much looking forward to the future."
Claudia, who is eagerly waiting to show off her designing skills, has earlier spoken that she would only design clothes she would wear.
"I have been approached so many times over the last 20 years but it has never been the right time. Now, I would consider it but it would have to be the right thing. They would need to be clothes that I would want to wear," Schiffer said.
