German supermodel Claudia Schiffer has decided to say goodbye to catwalks and ramps forever.
Even though the beautiful German had been adorning the ramp for the past 20 years, she mentioned that she is tired of walking the ramp. She also added that she prefers to be a part of the audience and watch the show rather than being a part of the show.
“I’m finished with the runway. I won’t miss it. I am still modelling and I enjoy that a lot but no more runways. I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the detail and that suits me fine. It’s very enjoyable. I like my new viewpoint,” she said.
The 5ft 11 beauty is a mother of two. Reports from The Sun mention that she became the centre of attraction along with other now famous personalities like Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.
Claudia also added that she was currently leading an "odd" life.
Her husband, film producer Matthew Vaughn, 38, is in Afghanistan, while she is planning a trip to Iraq.
