Christopher Kane, the winner of 2006 Young Designer of the Year award is now set to venture into menswear range by launching it at a retail store in London.
"I became obsessed with the explosions and landscapes from space pictures. I loved the colours and unbelievable detail. I printed them on to simple shapes, like loose fit T-shirts, cashmere and silk-mix knitted sweaters and cardigans," Kane quoted.
The 28-year-old also adds that if his range is successful then he will target to make his prolonged dream come true. He dreams of dressing style couple Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp.
"I love Vanessa Paradis - she`s so delicate and she doesn`t seem to have aged. Maybe she and Johnny Depp inject themselves with each other`s DNA. I would like to dress them," said Kane.
Kane today is the leading name in the fashion industry and his collaboration extended into music, after he designed costumes for Kylie Minogue's music video 2 Hearts.
