Britain`s hottest singer Cheryl Cole has become the new member of the popular Madame Tussauds museum. The singer unveiled her USD 237,660 worth wax statue on Wednesday in London.
Cheryl was excited about the honour and called it a strange feeling.
"I can`t explain how strange it is! It will take a little while to take in," Cheryl was quoted as saying.
The wax figure of the 27-year old singer is the total reflection of Cheryl`s glamour and persona. The wax model is dressed in an exclusive dress designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier which Cheryl had worn for Fashion Aid.
Cheryl said, "It's a dress I wore to a charity event and I wanted to relive that moment."
Cheryl’s model which has been placed in the A-list party area will join the biggest names of the glitz & glamour world including Robert Pattinson, Russell Brand. David Beckham, Britney Spears and Brad Pitt.
Liz Edwards, public relations manager at Madame Tussauds said at the event, "As the reaction of the public here today confirms, Cheryl is one of Britain`s hottest celebrities and we`re delighted to welcome her to Madame Tussauds London.”
