A court hearing to decide whether a restraining order against Charlie Sheen should be dropped has been postponed until Friday (22Jan10) due to a medical emergency.

 

Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller were scheduled to face off in an Aspen, Colorado courthouse on Wednesday (20Jan10), but the estranged couple will have to wait another two days for the encounter.

Reports suggest Mueller asked to participate in the hearing via telephone due to a medical emergency, but a judge refused her request.

Previously this month, Sheen put forward a similar request. He was also told he would have to show up in person.

The actor was ordered to stay away from his wife after a Christmas Day (25Dec09) fight, which landed him in jail.
