English actress Carey Mulligan is reportedly in the talks with the bosses of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ movie. If the deal goes well the actress will be seen starring in the movie adaptation of best-selling thriller.
Mulligan, 24 is expected to portray the most popular role of Lisbeth Salander. Lisbeth Salander is the heroine of Stieg Larsson's hugely popular Millennium trilogy.
Earlier, in an interview Mulligan had also revealed, "I am obsessed with those books. I would love to do them. I am not going to lie about that. I would love to play Lisbeth Salander."
If everything goes well then the deal between the movie bosses and actress is expected to be around 10 million pounds for the three films covering the Larsson's trilogy: ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’, ‘The Girl who Played With Fire’ and ‘The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest’.
The story is about the career of Salander, a bisexual private investigator and her curious relationship with a struggling journalist.
