Bryan Adams’ concert in Delhi is likely to be cancelled as according to reports the police has not given permission for the event due to security reasons.
According to police, the ticket sales have exceeded capacity limts as the NSIC exhibition ground located at Okhla can contain only 6000 people. However, the event organisers are taking with the cops to manage the situation as more than 20,000 tickets have been sold for it.
Adams is in a tour to India where he is supposed to perform at five cities. He has already given a rocking performance at Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai and today he was supposed to perform in Delhi followed by a performance in Hyderabad the next day on Feb 16.
According to police sources, "We have denied permission for the concert because of security concerns. The place chosen to organise the concert is not suitable for this kind of a programme. They have issued VIP and complimentary passes also. There were no traffic plans despite the fact that the show was to be held on a working day."
