A bad news for the fans of rocker Bret Michaels is coming in. The star who recently returned from hospital after suffering brain haemorrhage has now again readmitted to Los Angeles hospital following a mini-stroke.
The unlucky singer was planning to make a comeback after suffering a brain haemorrhage last month. But, now he has been hit by another health battle after experiencing numbness on the left side of his body.
A message appeared on Michaels’s website, informing that the Poison singer, ‘was readmitted to the hospital this week after suffering numbness on the left side of his body, predominantly his face and hands, which doctors described as a transient ischemic attack, or warning stroke."
Meanwhile, the singer’s doctor has said that Michaels, 47 is suffering from patent foramen ovale which means that he has a hole in his heart.
Joseph Zabramski, the physician of the singer wrote on his social networking website,”devastating news to Bret and his family. The good news is that it is operable and treatable, and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the transient ischemic attack.”
He added, "However, we feel it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered a few weeks earlier."
However, the representative of Bret Michaels, Jann Elias has assured the fans that the singer is responding well to the treatment and also thanked the fans for their support.
Jann Elias assured, “He is in good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be okay. He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive, but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again.”
